Storm Large has left the building
Given that Supernova giving her the boot caused another cascade of Web sites going down again, I honestly think Storm Large is probably just a little too large to be joining Velvet Revolver 2.
With the bounce off this, she and the Balls will be moving up to regional and even national work, especially with Internet distribution via CD Baby and iTunes. And, of course, she’s likely to get a very warm “welcome home” in Portland.
She made this season of Rock Star. Next week will just be morbid curiosity for me.

Ok, since I don’t get cable and can’t watch this, who was the guy crying? And why did they boot her?

That’s Jason Newstead, formerly of Metallica.
As for why they dumped Storm, I can only assume it’s because she’s not as obviously a Vince Neil or Trent Reznor analogue, which are the two types they seem to be leaning towards (with Dilana as Rob Zombie’s Europop-loving sister or something). Supernova so far does not seem blessed with a desire to think outside the box.
“Wish You Were Here” is just a sad song in general, although I guess it has personal associations for Storm and Jason.
