Copying contacts, calendar info from my Treo to my iPod

I’m not dumping my Treo, by any means, but it seems sort of silly to have unused Calendar and Contacts features on my iPod, especially as having an additional back-up of that information is nothing but a good idea.

That said, I don’t own Microsoft Outlook, so I can’t output the Palm data to Outlook and then have the iPod grab that. Does anyone else know a good solution to this?

I’m thinking of trying this program after today’s city council workshop/meeting double-header, but I was curious if anyone else had tried it.

  2. PalmPod looks very competent.
Do I understand that it will be a one-way street from your Treo
via the Palm Desktop thence (don’t you just love it when someone
uses Old School grammar?) to the iPod Touch? The full info would
be available on the Touch to review and consult but not to input
or alter. Since the Touch lacks Bluetooth and the Treo lacks WiFi
there is no direct Zappp upload. Since the Touch does not have a
Memo application available, it can’t be routinely used for notes
unless you email them to yourself. The Touch is such an exquisite
piece of work, it will inevitably attract aftermarket porducts and
benign hackers to add this and other capabilities. A Bluetooth
plug that the Touch would see as a WiFi connection…..mmmMMMM!
