The Stumping Grounds is a neat photo blog of unused photos taken by photo stringers shooting in Iowa for Reuters, UPI and other news services. Lots of interesting images, although typically not the type of news story illustrations that editors most want, in my experience.
Still, assuming you can identify Huckabee or Gravel at a glance (there are no captions), a very cool site.
