Not as good as James’ favorite, Never Go to Work, but still an improbably good TMBG kids’ tune off of Here Come the 123s. Personally, I’ve never come across them singing in such a different style before.

  1. that’s because the song was written & sung by their drummer, Marty Beller. he also did “Alphabet Lost And Found” on Here Come The ABCs.

  2. That would do it. I liked hearing TMBG step into new (to me) territory with this song.

  3. i agree… but they can do no wrong as far as i’m concerned anyway. 😉

also on The 123s, “Infinity” was written/sung by Dan Miller, the guitar player… & on “NO!” the bass player, Danny Weinkauf, wrote/sang “Where Do They Make Balloons”.

  4. Conor and Megan have been digging this one even more, I think, than “No!”… and I while I love “Zeroes”, “One Everything”, and “High Five”, I CANNOT get “Secret Life of Six” out of my head…

Conor DOES love “Never Go to Work”, though… I think that may the most played song on my iPod lately.

  5. My niece Kate loves pirates. I need to introduce her to “Pirate Girls Nine.”
