The only Liz Phair album one is apparently allowed to have as their favorite is “Exile in Guyville,” but for me, it’s 1998’s “whitechocolatespaceegg,” with its trippy soundscapes and frank talk about more adult relationships. This song, the big single off the album, is one of my favorite tracks.
Watching Michael Stipe telling the monsters to be happy again, it occurs to me that if Stipe would put on some muscle, regrow his hair and dress muy macho, he’d look just like Chris Metzen. Weird.
