t never fails: Im swinging in my hammock, sipping on a margarita (on the rocks, with salt), sassing some saucy senorita, when suddenly my comic sidekick bursts in, bringing word of the crisis du jour. So even though Id rather be taking a mental health day, I go out buckle-swashingAs you might expect, being a world-reknowned adventurer and all, Im quite the fan of LucasArts Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures, a Windows adventure game that randomly creates a new adventure meant to be solved in half-an-hour to an hour each time you play. (Thats about all the time I have in between my real-life adventures.)
Since the game was released, Ive gone on hundreds of adventures, and have seen most everything it can throw at you, and want to pass along the benefit of my experience to less-veteran adventurers. If you dont see the information you need here, e-mail me, and Ill get back to you ASAP, and also add the information to this page.
If you dont have the game, here's a demo version. You CANNOT win the demo. Youll have to download the full version from Lucas to savor victory. (While youre at it, e-mail LucasArts to tell them we need the Desktop Adventures editor posted. One was designed to test the puzzles, and it allows users to build an entire game. Tell them Indiana Beau sent ya.)
Happy trails, amigo!
